As Sunshop Norwich is a tanning and wellbeing salon, you’ll find more choice of treatments than you would at a normal tanning salon.
Don’t be confused though, you’ll still tan with them all, but you’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy many other benefits associated with the various light therapy treatments.
Our ‘Beds’
With 7 vertical and one ‘laydown’ tanning unit, plus spray tans, you’re spoilt for choice. All offer you the same tanning effect as the midday Mediterranean summer sun – but without the risk of burning.
We operate using hygienic practices, thoroughly cleaning each unit after every treatment – and we use only the very latest bulb technologies, replacing bulbs annually or every 5000 hours, depending on the unit.
Tanning
Sunshop Norwich offers top-quality, high-calibre UV 200w tanning beds. UV light is known to stimulate the production of D3, which is essential for our bodies to absorb calcium.
UV light exposure is also dermatologically proven to treat numerous skin conditions, including Acne, Psoriasis, and Eczema.
Added benefits
Research shows that tanning often brings other benefits, such as reduced stress and an increased feeling of wellbeing.
This is most likely because exposure to UV light increases the production of serotonin, a mood-elevating hormone. Men and women who have regular exposure to UV’s also tend to suffer less with debilitating Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
Compliant
Our lamps comply with the 0.3 W/m2 maximum irradiance limit for UV tanning equipment in accordance with the EU's Scientific Committee on Consumer Products (SCCP).
We are also operating in compliance with The Electrical (Safety) Regulations 1994, The Sunbed (Regulation) Act 2010 and European Standard EN60335-2-27.

Tanning Packages are available at the following prices;
60 minutes - £38.99 (65p per minute)
100 minutes - £59.99 (60p per minute)
200 minutes - £109.99 (55p per minute)
If you don’t want to buy a package, no problem – you can pay as you go for 95p per minute. Call us today to book your tanning sessions or get your questions answered.
Sunshop Membership - £95 per month for unlimited usage (covers all beds including collatan)
Versa spa spray tan - £30 full body - £15 legs only
